TREATMENTS

As a therapist, my main goal is to work collaboratively with my clients to help them overcome pain and discomfort. My treatments are bespoke, and I draw on a range of techniques. I also give rehabilitation advice, where needed.

Forearm Massage

SPORTS & REMEDIAL MASSAGE

Sports and Remedial Massage can help treat injury, pain, or dysfunction. It is suitable for all (you don't have to be a sports enthusiast to benefit).

It includes the use of deep tissue massage and advanced clinical techniques, such as soft tissue release, neuromuscular technique, and muscle energy techniques.

Myofascial Therapy

MYOFASCIAL RELEASE

Myofascial Release can help treat injury, pain, or dysfunction.

The intention is to work with the fascia, which is the connective tissue that surrounds our muscles, bones, and organs (often likened to a body stocking). The treatment is often conducted dry or will incorporate use of a specialised fascial wax.

Pre & Postnatal Massage

PREGNANCY & POST-NATAL MASSAGE

Pregnancy Massage is suitable from the second trimester onwards. The treatment is conducted with the client in a side-lying or seated position. The treatment has a remedial focus, targeting specific areas of discomfort common in pregnancy (e.g., low back pain, hip/glute pain).

Post-natal Massage is suitable as soon as you feel ready. The treatment can be conducted in a side-lying or seated position if that’s more comfortable for you. The treatment has a remedial focus, aiming to support your body’s recovery following pregnancy and helping to ease the physical strains associated with caring for a baby.

Reflexology

REFLEXOLOGY

A relaxing treatment focusing on the feet. Acupressure and massage strokes are applied to the feet in a systematic way.

If you are unsure as to which treatment might be the best fit for you, please feel free to message me using the contact page. If I don’t think I can provide the treatment you need, I will always endeavour to refer you on.
